LAWN BAR
SIT BACK & RELAX
Local meets destination at our Lawn Bar. Grab a table, picnic blanket or a spot on the grass and take in the scenic views of the 80 acre vineyard and the rolling hills of Waimauku. It's impossible not to feel relaxed in this stunning rural setting.
We recommend booking if you need to secure a table under cover or if you're booking in peak season. Otherwise, feel free to rock up and grab a spot on the Lawn. Walk ins always welcome and we always have spare picnic blankets on hand if no tables are available straight away or feel free to bring your own blanket to be safe.
TASTING PADDLES
Discover our award-winning Hunting Lodge wines and alternative varietals, plus paddles of local craft beer, flavoured whisky and gin and tonic. Wine Paddles are served to your table with tasting notes, and bite-sized food pairings are available.
Walk-ins welcome during opening hours, and we recommend booking for groups.
Prefer to be taken through the wines by our team? Please book ahead. On busy weekends, we may run guided tastings at set times and bring smaller groups together. If you’ve booked, we’ll let you know your tasting time.

CELLAR DOOR
If you’d like a guided tasting, bookings are required in advance so we can make sure our team is ready for you on the day. Prefer something more casual? Tasting paddles are available anytime during opening hours — no booking needed.
WE ARE FAMILY & PET FRIENDLY
The Lawn Bar is made for relaxed afternoons with the whole family. Our wide-open lawns give kids plenty of room to play. As we’re a working winery, please keep children under adult supervision at all times.
Dogs are very welcome too, and we love seeing them enjoy the countryside. Please keep them on a lead and clean up after them. Shade on the lawn is limited in summer, so take extra care to keep them cool on hot days.

Round up the crew and let us take care of the rest. Whether it’s post-game drinks, a team celebration or just a long-overdue catch-up, the Lawn Bar is made for relaxed group get-togethers.
Our Crowd Pleaser Package is designed for groups of 20 to 50, with a chef’s selection of our crowd favourites to graze on and share.

In peak season, we seat large groups in two sessions: 11am to 2pm, or from 3pm. Your exact start time may vary slightly depending on our closing hours that day, so your group has plenty of time to settle in without feeling rushed.
