About the wine:
Elegant and smooth with an air of finesse. Rich red in colour, this alluring wine is a blend of classic red grape varieties which thrive in the cooler climate of New Zealand's renown winegrowing regions. Dark cherry and red plum characters can be found on the nose with hints of vanilla and spice.
 
The palate is laden with juicy blackberry and currant flavours, followed by nuances of cedar and toasted coconut from the carefully selected French oak barrels. Packed with fruit sweetness and concentration, supple tannins add structure but allow for a soft, rounded finish. Serious in stature and sumptuous in flavour, this Ruby Red is very approachable and delightfully charming.
