The free-draining gravels and maritime climate of Hawkes Bay create the perfect recipe for producing wines with depth, elegance and a touch of varietal white pepper. Blackberries and fruit loaf are layered over fine tannins, all complimented by notes of Thyme and tobacco.
We try to keep our eager hands off when making Syrah, allowing the fruit expression to shine. This wine comes dressed in a selection of French oak adding structure and toastiness with hints of vanilla.
