Originating from Northwest Spain and Portugal, Albariño is an exciting alternative white variety that seems to possess the best qualities of Riesling and Viognier, without their hang-ups.
 
From the Awatere Valley, this lively expression delivers both interest and intensity. Bright acidity and taut structure meet a foray of citrus and fleshy stone fruit aromas, intertwined with white florals, guava, and a whisper of lime. A generous and complete palate reveals lemongrass, peach, and apricot, supported by a unique salty minerality and a fine seam of oyster shell.
