Paying homage to our unique patch of land in Waimauku. Hand-picked and crafted from small parcels of grapes, our Home Block range is the result of minimal winemaker intervention intimately bringing to life the wine, our history and provenance.
Waikoukou
Sauvignon Blanc
Waimauku
This is Savvie but not as you may know it! We’ve taken the iconic NZ variety ripened on some of the oldest Sauv Blanc vines in the country and let it express itself.
With no winemaker intervention during fermentation except for the provision of French oak barriques, the result is layers of complexity and a wild edge.
This is the Savvie for Chardonnay drinkers.
Ahukuramu
Albariño
Waimauku
Cementing it’s place in history as a diverse winegrowing region, Waimauku welcomes Albarino, the Spanish Migrant, to the clay soils of our Homeblock.
This hardy Euro possesses both character and resilience. Small berries and thick skins mean it take anything the New Zealand climate can throw at us, producing structured, zesty wines with body and concentration.
Ararimu
Chardonnay
Waimauku
The Waimauku Clay Soils of our Home Block have produced a Chardonnay with layers of baked nectarine, burnt butter and gunflint with a slightly assertive structure.
Curated with fine French oak, this provides a bold framework for the layers of interest. Hints of Lemon curd and hazelnut further add to the array of flavour and minerality, all sewn together by fine acidity which provides length and persistence.
